Scrabble anyone??

Every once in a while, Tripp and I will pull out the old Scrabble game. Last night became one of those times. We were pretty impressed with our ability to use all of the letters except 2 "E," 1 "Q", and 1 "O."

It was a close game with only about 9 points separating us at the end of the game. Fun way to end a Saturday night!!

"Snow" Day

Tripp and I had a day off of work last Friday in anticipation of some "severe" weather. We were supposed to have ice and snow on Friday, but only wound up with ice. Either way, we got to enjoy a day together at home.

We spent most of the day cooking! We both really enjoy cooking and it is something that we like to do together. We started with pancakes and fruit smoothies for breakfast. We then made "Beer Cheese Soup," "Chicken Sausage Gumbo," and "Beef Chuck Roast." They all turned out delicious!!

In between cooking, we watched "The American," "The Bounty Hunter," "Easy A," and "Get Him to the Greek," did some Just Dance 2 on Wii, and squeezed in a nap. It was a fabulous unexpected relaxing day!

New toys!!

Tripp and I finally sat down to order some items with some old credit card points from a credit card we no longer use. We decieded on a few things that we thought would be useful and kind of fun!

It was like Christmas all over again with package after package being delivered over the last week :)
